Join us this month as we discuss Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri. Interpreter of Maladies is a short story collection that explores themes of identity, love, and cultural differences among immigrants. The title story follows Mr. Kapasi, an Indian tour guide, as he leads an Indian-American family on a trip to India.
Please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on, and possibly a sweater or jacket as it may be chilly near the water where we meet. Snacks/drinks to share are always encouraged but never required.
