Reflecting on Ruth Asawa and the Garden of Remembrance" explores the legacy of Japanese American incarceration during WWII through the lens of the artist's enduring memorial on the San Francisco State University campus. This exhibition features works by Mark Baugh-Sasaki, Ruka Kashiwagi, Paul Kitagaki Jr., Wendy Maruyama, Lisa Solomon, and TT Takemoto, examining ancestry, family histories, and the impact of Executive Order 9066 through diverse artistic expressions, honoring the resilience of this community.
