Join the Museum of Us for a pop-up poetry-making lab with San Diego's Poet Laureate, Jason Magabo Perez. Inspired by the Hostile Terrain exhibition, which explores the U.S. Border Patrol's "Prevention Through Deterrence" strategy implemented in , participants will engage in creative writing exercises, exploring poetry-making techniques like ekphrasis, cut-up, documentary, and collage. All are welcome to drop-in and participate.
