The Cinco de Mayo celebration began in Old Town many years ago, and over the years has grown to become a San Diego tradition. Make it a weekend of fun there are so many places to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in San Diego. The Gaslamp in downtown is the largest with over six blocks of things to do like live music, Lucha Libre meet and greet and food and fun throughout. In Old Town the place to party is Fiesta de Reyes in the State Park with live music. There are also festivals at Sea World, Carlsbad, Chicano Park and Chula Vista. There is so much to see and do! So much food to enjoy! Best locations will be downtown in the Gaslamp on Saturday and Fiesta de Reyes in Old Town on Sunday.
