Mocedades is a long-running singing group, originally formed by students in Spain's Basque Country in 1967. Initially named Voces y Guitarras (Voices and Guitars), their producer gave them the name Mocedades, meaning "youths." They achieved international fame in 1973 when they represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest with their hit song "Eres tú" (It's You), which landed them in second place.
