Directed by Isao Takahata and produced by Hayao Miyazaki, ONLY YESTERDAY beautifully evokes the quintessential drama of Japanese school-day nostalgia. Realizing that she is at a crossroads in her life, bored twenty-something Taeko heads for the countryside.
