As part of its Art & Empire exhibition, the San Diego Museum of Art presents Sounds of Seville: An Evening of Flamenco Dance with "La Chimi."
Join award-winning dancer, choreographer, and producer Lakshmi Basile ("La Chimi") for a night of electrifying Spanish music and dance. The first non-Spanish winner of the 2011 Concurso de las Minas de La Uni?n, Basile?s emotive, inspired dancing was described by poet and flamencologist F?lix Grande as "a heart-wrenching homage to the romantics of classic flamenco."
