On April 27, Dutch in the Netherlands and abroad celebrate the birthday of King Willem-Alexander, a Dutch national holiday, with festivals full of music, food and merriment. This year, Dutch community groups in San Diego (Dutch San Diego & Dutch School of Southern California, La Jolla) and The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe invite locals & fellow expats alike to join them for a Dutch festival in Rancho Santa Fe, CA, where The Inn is hosting San Diego King?s Day 2019 on their picturesque, sprawling lawns. Admission to this family-friendly event is free and revelers of all ages can soak up the Southern California sun, sample an array of traditional Dutch cuisine prepared by The Inn's Executive Chef Chris House & team and enjoy horse-drawn hay rides courtesy of Smarts Farm. San Diego King?s Day?s full day of festivities includes: ? Traditional cuisine like Bitterballen, Herring and Poffertjes created by The Inn's Executive Chef Chris House & team ?
