Tartan Day is a celebration of Scottish heritage, celebrating the signing of the Declaration of Arbroath. This document was signed in 1320 and laid claim to Scotland's status as an independent, sovereign state. The American Declaration of Independence is modeled off of this document.
Come join us for a wonderful community celebration at House of Scotland Tartan Day! There will be music, dancing, children's activities, shopping, bagpipers, bagpipe competitions, pipe bands, highland dancers, country dancers, stage entertainment, traditional foods including haggis, meat pies, bangers, bread pudding, death by chocolate, shortbread, and so much more!
