Uncategorized Download To My Calendar
The Museum offers the following film in connection with the exhibition Tim Shaw: Beyond Reason.

Set a mere seven months before the Belfast bombings that inspired Tim Shaw?s immersive piece Mother, the Air is Blue, the Air is Dangerous, Bloody Sunday recreates in minute detail the events leading up to and following ?Bloody Sunday,? in which British soldiers shot 28 unarmed Irish civilians during a peaceful protest march in Derry, Northern Ireland. Bloody Sunday not only offers valuable historical context in understanding the origins of many of Shaw?s pieces, but also compellingly depicts a conflict whose repercussions are still deeply felt today. 107 minutes, rated R.

Join us before the film screening at 7:00 PM inside the Museum for Art of ?lan Pop Up Concert: Beyond Reason, inspired by the featured exhibition. This concert is free with your film screening ticket or Museum admission.
