Ziggy Marley, son of immortal reggae legend Bob Marley, is the featured performer of todays Del Mar Summer Concert Series and will take the stage after the opening acts, Common Sense & Julian Marley. Born in Trench Town, Jamaica, Ziggy was surrounded by the sights and sounds of his father during his studio sessions. He and his brother Julian carry-on that legacy and spread the unifying message of love.
The beer festival, featuring more than 50 brews, is held in the Infield Pavilion. Reggae music and entertainment beginning at 3:30 pm with Common Sense.
We are expecting a large crowd and encourage you to arrive early. Parking rates will be increased for patrons arriving after the 8th race. The beer festival and music are free with your $6 racetrack general admission. You must be 21 to enter the beer festival. First race is at 2:00 PM
