Film: Yesterday

Coronado Public Library, 640 Orange Avenue, Coronado

Yesterday, everyone knew The Beatles. Today, only Jack remembers their songs. Director Danny Boyle and writer Richard Curtis celebrate the magic of The Beatles in this jukebox romantic comedy. In an alternate universe where The Beatles never existed, a struggling busker named Jack Malick (Himesh Patel) soon passes off their songs as his own. Superstardom follows. So does the guilt. With Lily James, Joel Fry, Ed Sheehan and James Corden.
