New Date! The Culinary Historians of San Diego will present “From Mesopotamia to Pompeii: A Tale of 1001 Agricultural Bites” featuring Barbara Baxter, rescheduled to 10:30 AM on November 19 - in the Neil Morgan Auditorium of the San Diego Central Library, 330 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101. This event is free and open to the public. A tasting will follow the presentation.

This is a delicious look at how edible ingredients spurred the development of classic societies through food trade around the Mediterranean world. Over time, culinary traditions changed drastically in and around the shores of Persia, North Africa, and Southern Europe. Join our audience to compare those changes with our modern ways.
