Music: Allison Adams Tucker |
 | Given four stars by DownBeat Magazine and described by the Examiner as "lustrous in any language - a vocalist who clarifies every note within a hair's breath," multi-lingual vocalist Allison Adams Tucker creates a unique musical postcard with jazz-inspired songs that span countries and genres in six languages, from Cole Porter to Tom Jobim, the Beatles to Sting.
Allison has come by this concept honestly, having circled the globe multiple times and performing everywhere from Tuscany to Tokyo. Allison began singing at age five in her native San Diego, and traversed everything from country to punk, Elizabethan madrigals to radio jingles, before settling on jazz a decade ago. Allison will be joined by long-time collaborators Danny Green piano, Justin Grinnell bass and Julien Cantelm drums for an exhilarating and heart-warming concert of music and stories, and a sprinkle of holiday spirit.
