Dave Scott & His Latin Jazz Trio |
 | An accomplished jazz trombonist and composer, Dave has been the featured soloist at numerous concerts including the San Diego Chamber Orchestra with Jung-Ho Pak and the San Diego Youth Symphony. Recently, Dave played in the trombone section of the San Diego Symphony Pops backing American Songbook Legend Michael Feinstein and as a guest performer with the Tifereth Israel Orchestra featuring his original compositions arranged and orchestrated by Latin Jazz great Irving Flores. He owes his style to friend and mentor Bill Watrous, who not only plays with Dave regularly, but recently recorded Dave's original tune "Samba Del Sol" in Hollywood with the Brad Steinwehe Orchestra.
As a musician, Dave picked up a Jazz Artist of the Year nomination at the 1998 San Diego Music Awards and leads his own groups "Monsoon", "Mambo Trombo Trio, and The New Slide Quartet."
