All Day Free Admission to Japanese Friendship Garden Take advantage of an opportunity to visit the Japanese Friendship Garden at no cost today. As a public service, Park organizations offer free admission on a rotating basis on the first four Tuesdays of the month to San Diego City and County residents (with ID), and active military and their dependents.

Please note: Some museums may offer complimentary admission to their permanent collections only, and charge admission to special exhibitions or films.

Also note: Some museums may require ID for minors.

French consulate in Los Angeles , San Diego State University , the San Diego French-American Chamber of Commerce and the CCI Paris IDF are teaming up to offer you FREE access to a French Language Conference & Job Fair to be held at San Diego State University on November 19, 2019 from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

Whether you are looking for an internship during your studies or just beginning your career, this event will connect you with valuable employers who are in need of your talents!

6:00 PM Demonstration: Japanese Floral Design Ikebana is a classical art form encompassing all styles of Japanese floral arranging dating back to the Ashijaga period of 1138-1573 that can be traced to the ritual flower offering in Budhist temples. Join former REP Board President and Ikebana artist-in-training Sachiko Kohatsu who returns from her study in Japan to share a one-of-a-kind floral arranging demonstration with insights into this ancient and beautiful art!
