The Pig is associated with the Earthly Branch (地支—d́ zhī hài (亥)) in Chinese mythology. In Chinese culture, pigs are a symbol of wealth. Their chubby faces and big ears are signs of fortune.

The Pig is the twelfth of all zodiac animals. Pigs are models of sincerity, purity, tolerance, and honor. They are careful and caring, responsible and chivalrous. Pigs are also intellectual, they always hold a great thirst for knowledge.
