Presenting world-class Russian artists, hand-painted sets, Russian Snow Maidens and a two dancer Dove of Peace with a 20-foot wingspan - the Great Russian Nutcracker brings the Christmas spirit to life for all ages.

7:00 PM California Ballet: The Nutcracker California Ballet Company presents "The Nutcracker" at the San Diego Civic Theatre with the San Diego Symphony.

Join Clara and her Nutcracker Prince on a fantastical adventure with giant rats, glittering snowflakes, and the Sugar Plum Fairy's Kingdom of the Sweets.

California Ballet also presents special 60-minute performances for families with very young children. These shows are at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 14 and December 21.

Before the shows there red carpet photo opportunities, plus meet and greets with the cast after the matinee and early evening performances.
