10:00 AM NAFTA 2.0 Forum - Mexico Relations A revised trilateral agreement was reached on September 30th which will govern more than $1.3 trillion worth of trade between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. If approved, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) would replace the North American Free Trade Agreement or NAFTA. While the two documents are largely similar, USMCA updates various chapters in NAFTA and includes additional chapters which were included in the Trans-Pacific Partnership or TPP.

This forum will provide an overview of the revised agreement, next steps in the ratification process and hear from private and public sector stakeholders as to the possible impacts on our binational region.

Attendance to this forum is complimentary, but registration is required.

7:30 PM Book Signing: Sins as Scarlet After a brutal investigation ripped apart his life, Kosuke Iwata quit both his job as a detective with the Tokyo Police Department and his country, leaving Japan for the sunnier shores of Los Angeles, California. But, although he's determined to leave his past behind, murder still follows him.

Having set up shop as a private investigator, Iwata is approached by someone from his old life. Her daughter has been killed and the case has gone cold. Out of loyalty, Iwata agrees to take on the case and reinvestigate the homicide. However, what seems initially like a cold-blooded but simple murder takes a complex turn when a witness, a vagrant, recalls the killer's parting words: "I'm sorry."

From the depths of Skid Row to the fatal expanse of the Sonoran Desert, Iwata tracks the disparate pieces of a mysterious and heartbreaking puzzle. But the more he unearths, the more complex this simple act of murder becomes.

Lives untangle, fates converge, and blood is spilled as Inspector Iwata returns.

7:30 PM Stage: The Year to Come Every New Year's Eve a family gathers in their Florida backyard to ring in the coming year. In between dips in the pool, politically incorrect banter and a highly-anticipated onion dip, their relationships grow and fracture in moments that become family legend. Unfolding backwards in time, The Year to Come shows how the promise of our future is shaped by the lens of our past. Rising playwright Lindsey Ferrentino introduces us to a distinctly American family whose evolution mirrors the turbulence of the 21st century.
