In partnership with Mingei International Museum, Art of Elan presents a colorful musical program that takes inspiration from the Fashioning an Icon exhibit featuring incredible handmade work by Mexican textile artists. With music composed by Gabriela Ortiz, José Elizondo, and Nico Muhly, as well as “In Memoriam” by Arnold Bax for English Horn, Harp and String Quartet, this highly imaginative program encourages reflection and a greater appreciation for the beauty that is all around us.
