Alma Sangre is an acoustic group based in Los Angeles. Songs are sung in Spanish and invoke the passion of Chavela Vargas. Mashing up flamenco dance, Latin rhythms, and Spanish guitar, husband and wife Antonio Aguilar and Meg Castellanos honor their Mexican and Cuban roots in this eclectic and enigmatic group.
