A Chamorro historian from the Mariana Islands and a Professor of Asian American Studies at UC Los Angeles, Camacho studies and analyzes diaspora, settler colonialism, policing, gender and more among Pacific Islanders, Indigenous groups and other communities of color.

The program will dive into his book, "Reppin’: Pacific Islander Youth and Native Justice" where he explores the multiple perspectives of individual Pacific Islander youth and their social justice methodologies.
