Fernández is one of Mexico’s biggest international music stars, as well as the son of icon Vicente Fernández. He established himself as a ranchero singer during the 1990s alongside his self-titled debut album that was nominated for Regional Mexican Album of the Year at the Lo Nuestro Awards in 1993.
