La Rondalla de San Diego consists of elders who gather to have fun creating beautiful music and shareing it with others. "Rondalla" comes from the Spanish ronda, meaning "serenade." Rondalla singers partner with guitarists and percussionists to perform beloved musical standards in Spanish and English from Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean including Mexico Lindo y Querido, Cielito Lindo, Harbor Lights, Volver Volver, Piel Canela, and of course,La Rondalla. We perform at public libraries, senior facilities, schools, public events and community festivals.
