Join Lithuanians, Latvians, and Estonians for the 35th Anniversary Celebration of the Baltic Way!

We are gathering to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Baltic Way, a remarkable civic initiative that united the people of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia in their pursuit of independence. On August 23, 1989, nearly two million people formed a 600-kilometer human chain across the Baltic States, demonstrating their solidarity and determination for freedom. This historic event is recognized in UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register.

We invite everyone to join the Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian communities in commemorating this historic event by forming our own Baltic Way at Mission Bay Park.
