Born in Sinaloa, Mexico, and now based in Phoenix, AZ, Regional Mexican star Edgardo Nuñez has become a key figure in the new generation of ballad and corrido singer/songwriters. He began his musical journey at age 14, learning the accordion and performing original music at small venues around his town before landing a record deal with Genesis Records. Now in his twenties, Nuñez’s impeccable voice and innovative style have allowed him to stand out as one of those most unique and influential artists in Regional Mexican music.
