Chicano Batman is a Los Angeles-based band that blends a cool mix of genres into their sound, including psychedelic soul, funk, indie, prog, and rock.
Formed in 2008, the core band consists of Eduardo Arenas, Carlos Arévalo, and Bardo Martinez. Their drummer, Gabriel Villa, hasn't been active with the group since their latest album, "Invisible People". The band draws inspiration from a wide range of artists, including Brazilian artists from the 1960s like Caetano Veloso, the Beatles, and classic soul musicians like Curtis Mayfield and the Delfonics. They've built a loyal following and even shared the stage with big names like Alabama Shakes, Jack White, and Vampire Weekend.
