Hōkū Zuttermeister was born and raised in Kāne'ohe, Hawai'i, to parents Carl and Susan Zuttermeister. In June 2008, the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts bestowed Hoku's debut album, "Aina Kupuna" with 10 Na Hoku Hanohano Award nominations in which the album won six. This award is Hawaii's equivalent to the Grammy Award.Mark Yamanaka 14-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano award winner, Mark Yamanaka, is proud to call Hilo, Hawaiʻi his home. Mark released his debut album, Lei Pua Kenikeni, in 2010. It went on to win 4 of the most coveted awards at the 2011 Hōkūs and in 2013, he followed that success with the release of Lei Mail. Kellen and Līhau Paik, known professionally as the duo, Kūpaoa, have performed together for 18 years. During that time, they have released 8 albums and received 7 Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards. Life-long students of Hawaiian language, they enjoy composing and performing their original songs, in addition to beloved, time-honored favorites. Also, Kehaulani Wilson, Miss Hui o Hawaii of San Diego 2023-2024, will be performing.Your Host for tonight will be John Keoni Monte.
