A black veteran and a man of deep faith who served in the US Marine Corps, yet was a conscientious objector.

{definition: an individual who is opposed to serving in the armed forces and bearing arms on the grounds of moral and/ or religious beliefs.} Obeying the order as a newly drafted kid not to go to jail, he joined the US Military in Jan 12th 1966.
