Culinary Historians of San Diego will present “Columbian Exchange: the Positives,” with Barbara Baxter, a Culinary Historians of San Diego presenter. Her main interest is in wine, whose history is naturally interlinked with food. After studying wine at Paris’ University of Sorbonne, she continued her study of its history. Barbara has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, and has lectured at many museums and UC universities in California.
The event will be followed by a tasting and chat with Barbara B.
