"Korea in Color: A Legacy of Auspicious Images" sheds light on the use of color in Korean painting—known as polychrome painting (chaesaekhwa)—and its role in Korean culture.

Join us for an insightful conversation exploring the history and influence of polychrome painting and its legacy of auspicious imagery. Hear from Eleanor Soo-ah Hyun, The Korea Foundation and Samsung Foundation of Culture Associate Curator of Korean Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met), and Rachel Jans, Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at The San Diego Museum of Art and co-curator of "Korea in Color: A Legacy of Auspicious Images."
