The orchestra of 40 musicians plays traditional Eastern European folk instruments. They will present a program of music from Ukraine and around the world. The concert will also feature folk dancers Larissa Nazarenko and Nikit Pilipko, along with guest singers baritones Salvador Padilla and Vadis Jansons and soprano Anna Belaya, and instrumentalist Andriy Pidkivka. The orchestra’s professional directors and arrangers are Iryna Orlova and Anatoliy Mamalyga. Both are graduates of the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music formerly known as the Kiev State (Tchaikovsky) Conservatory.
