Join us for a showing of 2004 Sundance Film Festival award winning documentary, Imelda. Imelda (directed by Ramona S. Diaz) gives viewers an intimate and stomach-churning account of the rise of First Lady of the Philippines, Imelda Marcos, and her beginnings from beauty queen to wife of Philippine dictator, Ferdinand Marcos. The Marcos regime is well known for its record of human rights abuses and extrajudicial killings.
