The Hawaiian word, Lōkahi, means unity. This word was specifically chosen for our festival to highlight how we are united in our people and our culture. We are celebrating generations of Hawaiians with live music, hula performed by local hālau, art, demonstrations, and tasty authentic foods. Whether you grew up in the islands and are missing home, grew up on the continent with ties back home, or simply love our beautiful Hawaiian culture, the Lōkahi Festival will certainly spoil you. This new event will focus on the nostalgia of the Hui O Hawaiʻi San Diego lūʻau that so many Hui families and friends have experienced over decades.

Our vision for the Lōkahi Festival is to bring Connection, Community, and Culture to all who wish to embrace the magnificence that is Hawaiʻi, while enjoying food and shopping from local vendors. Admission is free for this event and all ages are welcome.
