Klezmer star Yale Strom and his band Hot Pstromi hit the stage in San Diego for a festive holiday concert, featuring tunes from his latest release - Yale Strom’s Broken Consort: Shimmering Lights. Winter Schminter celebrates both Hanukkah and the Winter Solstice with Hot Pstromi’s signature sound, a fusion of traditional klezmer, Sephardic, Romani, Christian and pagan music from various East European lands with an added dose of improvisational breaks.
