Join Third Avenue Village as we take part in a traditional Mexican celebration honoring loved ones who have passed, by enjoying life, music, and good food and drink.
Stroll along Third Avenue and take in the ofrendas (offerings), tastes and music as we celebrate our 2nd Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration in the heart of Chula Vista. Guests will be able to celebrate this event with two different options: La Ofrenda, a ticketed portion that gives guests the chance to sample a variety of tastes from local businesses and redeem special discounts throughout the night and Treats & Sweets, a free, family-centric option where little catrines and catrinas (kids) can wander through participating businesses to collect goodies.
Guests are encouraged to dress up in full Catrín attire or put their own fun and modern spin on the traditional look. Capture the night with a fun photo opportunity and stop by one of the several photo spots hosted by Third Avenue Village. Guests are also highly encouraged to honor a loved one by bringing along a copy of a photo to on our 12′ Catrína, located on the corner of Third and Davidson.
