The San Diego community gathers to celebrate American, Israeli, and Palestinian youth who have embarked on the Hands of Peace journey, beginning with the 2022 Summer Program. For 19 days, these courageous youth engage in dialogue to build bridges of understanding, develop leadership and peacebuilding skills, and prepare to become agents of change in their communities. The special program will be followed by a reception with "lite bites" created by Flor Franco. Franco has served as the Executive Chef for several award-winning venues and restaurants, two Sundance Film Festivals, one Conde Nast dinner, hundreds of the world’s best events, and has had the honor of designing and executing menus for Hollywood elite, dignitaries, and national political figures.
