Comhaltas San Diego is hosting two workshops on Saturday, May 14. Both workshops will be led by Gerry "Fiddle" O'Connor of Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland.
• Workshop #1 - 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for intermediate/advanced fiddle players. Emphasis will be on bowing patterns for Irish reels and hornpipes.
• Workshop #2 - 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM for all instrument players at all levels. This workshop will focus on interpretation of Irish traditional music. Feel free to bring your instrument.
Concert with be held at the House of Ireland in Balboa Park at 7:30 PM and will feature Gerry O’Connor on Fiddle and Richard Mandel on Guitar.
Admission/Cost (Workshops): $35 - $75 $5 discount if you enroll in both workshops.
Admission/Cost (Concert): $25 suggested donation at the door (cash only)
