Please join UC San Diego for the 21st Annual César E. Chávez Celebration Kickoff and Scholarship Awards. This year's national theme "Sustaining Chávez's Legacy" serves as a tribute to his commitment to social justice and respect for human dignity. The event will recognize student scholars, faculty/staff, alumni and community award recipients who further Chávez’s core values in their communities. This celebration highlights include an inspirational keynote speaker, special performances, a delicious boxed lunch and more. All campus and community members are invited.
