The Cherry Blossom Festival is the Japanese Friendship Garden’s largest annual event and is an experience you don’t want to miss. As Spring arrives, the Cherry Blossom trees bloom and the garden celebrates hanami (haw-nuh-mee) which is appreciating the beauty of cherry blossoms.
The Japanise Friendship Garden hosts numerous vendors, food booths, cultural performances and more. The festival will include tea tastings, treats and a beer and sake garden where guests will be able to meet local brewers. Families can have fun in the children’s garden where games, arts and crafts, and a jump-house will be.
Cherry Blossoms bloom once a year and are truly beautiful. The Japanese Friendship Garden is honored to celebrate this festival with the community and hope to see you there!
