The San Diego World Affairs Council distinguished speaker series.

Corinne E. Goria, J.D. is the author of Invisible Hands: Voices from the Global Economy (Voice of Witness 2014), a collection of oral histories highlighting human and labor rights struggles in the global economy.

Kirkus Reviews writes: "Powerful and revealing testimony to the injustices of manual labor, infused with inspiration for global change...San Diego lawyer Goria assembles a series of eye-opening interviews by people hidden in the trenches of manual labor, a flourishing trade eclipsed by workplace grievances and global economic stratification. This unique compilation of histories demands attention and collectively has the impetus to inspire change." Invisible Hands is currently taught at colleges and universities across the country

Professor Goria is also an Assistant Editor of Underground America: Narratives of Undocumented Lives (McSweeney's 2008), a collection of oral histories from undocumented immigrants in the United States, which was featured on NPR and in The Guardian.
