BXS, also known as Bryndis por Siempre, is a regional Mexican group with a cumbia romantica style who made their full-length album debut in 2011. Based in Dallas, Texas, the group is comprised of Guadalupe Guevara (vocals), Juan Guevara (drums), Alfredo Guevara (guitar), Juan Ayala (keyboards), Mario Luis Jimenez (bass), and Francisco Guevara (percussion). Guadalupe and Juan Guevara are former members of Grupo Bryndis, a similarly styled cumbia romantic group that was popular throughout the ’90s and 2000s. Leveraging the popularity of their former group, the Guevara brothers took the name BXS (an acronym for “Bryndis por Siempre”) for their new group. As BXS, they made their full-length album debut with Por Siempre Románticos (2011). Released on the label Disa, the album spawned the single “Temporal de Amor.”
