Learn about Critical Race Theory and how the San Diego County Office of Education is teaching about diversity. A panel of educators and community representatives will address this timely topic: Bill Loftus of LWV of North County will present two brief video clips about the history of Critical Race Theory and about the current opposition to it. Dr. Fabiola Bagula, Senior Director of the Equity Department of the San Diego County Office of Education, and three members of her team will give a presentation about their approach to teaching about diversity and equity. Yusef Miller of the Racial Justice Coalition of San Diego will conclude with remarks.Then the panel will take questions from the audience.
