This film was a surprising entry from Warner Brothers, which was known for its gritty dramas and gangster films, but tough guy James Cagney does a wonderful turn as Bottom. Plus enjoy Mickey Rooney as a most mischievous Puck, the lovely Olivia DeHavilland as Hermia, and Joe E. Brown as Flute. This is a fantasy romance as only old school Hollywood magic can create.
