Celebrate the life of Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. Many of the small businesses along Logan Avenue will be participating in the weekend-long celebration and they will be hosting Frida Kahlo inspired festivities in front of their shops. Activities will include (but are not limited to): - Live Frida Kahlo inspired painting by local artists - "Las Dos Fridas" photo booth station provided by La Bodega Gallery - "Create your own Flower Crown" workshop - Frida Kahlo inspired street vendors set up all along Logan Avenue - An interactive installation piece "A replication of Frida Kahlo's Casa Azul" - Frida "Color by Numbers" station for the children - Altar de Frida - and more.
