Greater San Diego Music Coterie, directed by Dr. Angela Yeung, and the Villa-Lobos Museum in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil present a lecture performance commemorating the 60th death Anniversary of Brazilian composer Hector Villa-Lobos (1887-1959). Dr. Silvio dos Santo, Professor of Music at the University of Florida and scholar with special interest in Brazilian music, will be giving the lecture. Program includes works for solo guitar, solo piano, Choros No. 2 for flute and clarinet, and Bachianas brasileiras No.5 for 8 cellos and soprano.
