In the spirit of the continued work of renewal at the Centro Cultural de la Raza in preparation for our 50th anniversary, we make a call to our ancestors, nuestros abuelitos y abuelitas, our taitas to come and visit us as we honor their memory, their stories, their lives, and the work they left behind. This is a call for the Chicano/a/x, Latino/a/x, Indigeous communities to come be a part of the celebrations hosted at the Centro Cultural de la Raza for Dia de Muertos. We dedicate Dia de Muertos to those that came before us and their spirits that continue to be present in our ongoing work of transformation as we grow and evolve as the Centro Cultural de la Raza.
We invite all to our celebration and open the doors for anyone who wishes to share the stories and tales of our Muertit@s. If you like to set up an altar or have questions please contact Eva Sandoval:
