Books for Good Trouble: Somos San Diego

San Diego Central Library, 330 Park Blvd, San Diego

Social Justice and Human Rights

San Diego has a rich bi-cultural history and San Diego Public Library is excited to bring in local authors Maria E. Garcia and Beatrice Zamora to discuss the SD's rich local history and culture.

Both authors have focused on local history, the importance of taking action and recognizing and appreciating the latina/o/x culture deeply embedded in the San Diego region and beyond.

Attendees will receive a copy of one of these books, while supplies last:

• We Made San Diego
• The Spirit of Chicano Park
• Am I blue or am I green?

The Books for Good Trouble: Social Justice Dialogs programming series fosters discussions of local community concerns and connects books and creators to encourage positive changes in our neighborhoods.
