The summer field season at the Nathan Harrison site produced multiple stunning discoveries that furthered understanding into the life and legend of Palomar pioneer Nathan Harrison. San Diego State University professor and project director Seth Mallios will offer an overview of the field project, discuss the current San Diego History Center exhibit, and detail the site’s most recent finds. A single spectacular find from the midden answered one of the biggest debates regarding Harrison’s personal life.

This event will be held on Zoom and will be limited to 100 participants. Ticket purchases of $40 and over will receive a signed copy of Born a Slave, Died a Pioneer: Nathan Harrison and the Historical Archaeology of Legend by Dr. Seth Mallios.
