ArtWalk 2010
Known fondly as the largest fine art festival in southern California, Mission Federal ArtWalk is a two-day event held from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on April 24 and 25, 2010 celebrating original works of art. In its 26th year, the fine arts festival has been counted upon by artists and art lovers alike, to bring together all facets of the arts in San Diego and promote the joy and investment in owning original artwork.
The fine art festival features more than 300 artists from all over the United States, as well as Mexico, who display their original art for exhibit and sale. What makes Mission Federal ArtWalk unique is the opportunity to engage directly with fine artists who are respected in their field. A wide array of mediums will be on display, including paintings, sculpture, glasswork, photography, music, dance and entertainment. There is also a special area for kids and families known as KidsWalk, which provides free and interactive creative arts activities including painting, performing arts, music and more.

International Guitar Night
IGN founder Brian Gore is joined by some of the world's foremost acoustic guitarists. Acoustic. International Guitar Night (IGN) is the longest-running "mobile guitar festival" in North America. Each year, IGN founder Brian Gore of San Francisco is joined by three of the world's foremost acoustic guitarists to perform their latest original compositions and exchange musical ideas in a public concert setting. IGN founder Brian Gore welcomes Lulo Reinhardt, a descendant of Django from Germany who mixes his family's trademark Gypsy Jazz with new forays into Latin music; Itamar Erez from Israel whose symphonic compositions echo his Middle Eastern roots, and renowned harp guitarist Stephen Bennett from Virginia.

Haitian Benefit
A presentation will be lead by Christine Seisun, Community Outreach Associate at Red Cross, who will speak about the work being done on the ground and the progress of the organization's relief projects in Haiti. Instructor Dominique George will share her experience as a Project Manager during the Great Flood of 2000 in Mozambique and Alberto Lau will talk about rebuilding after an earthquake. Presentation will be held in English. French appetizers, pastries and soft drinks/coffee will be served. Raffle including a free session of classes at the Alliance Française (max. value of $360), a picture parfaite package (value: $300), a family membership (value: $70), and donated items to raise additional funds. This event is presented by the l'Alliance Française de San Diego, with support from EuroFoodDepot, La Bastide, Opera Patisserie and many more.
Minimum requested donation is $25, but please donate more if you can.
100% of all revenue from this event will go towards reconstruction efforts in Haiti.
